Our Community

Being part of the community for Doering&Co. means we put our “boots on the ground”, because we’re not just another business in our neighborhood. Our agents are active locally, involved with Children’s Wisconsin. Sure, we’re proud to have grown our business in the community, but we prefer our profits extend to our local organizations, so we can make a lasting impact. 

Children’s Wisconsin was founded more than 125 years ago and relies on community support to realize its vision for Wisconsin’s kids to be among the healthiest in the nation. But for Jeremy Doering, of Doering&Co., the connection to Children’s is personal.

Before aligning his company with Children’s, Jeremy, a member of Leaders Who C.A.R.E.—a highly engaged donor network of professionals and community leaders who make a difference for kids through fundraising, networking, volunteering, and advocating for Children’s. “Once I realized the time and effort this group was spending to enrich the lives of children and families, I naturally wanted in,” recalled Doering.

In addition to donating a portion of every transaction to Children’s Wisconsin, the Doering&Co. Team volunteers at Miracle Marathon, a radiothon fundraiser where patients and families share their powerful stories of hope and healing. This year, the Doering&Co. team and many others in the Children’s community helped raise $1,005,000 for the kids and families of Wisconsin! This incredible gift will support the physical, social, and mental well-being of kids in countless ways, like Tennison (pictured to the right, click here for the story). They also participate in Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s, a longstanding Milwaukee tradition.
